About me

I write under the name of Hornet. I live in Penang, Malaysia. Penang is a lovely island and is rich in heritage.

My life began in a lovely town called Taiping which means ‘Everlasting Peace’. Taiping is Malaysia’s best kept secret and is located in the state of Perak. It has the most rainfall in the country. My alma mater (school) is King Edward VII School. Taiping is rich in history as the first railway station started here. Once upon a time, it was a bustling tin mining town. It still has one of the most beautiful lake gardens in the country.
