The launch of the HTC TOUCH DIAMOND2 is next week on Tue 28 April 09 but it didn’t stop The Mobile Hornet from getting his hands on one very beautiful and smooth Diamond2.  Let me share with you  my love at first touch on the HTC TOUCH DIAMOND2 :

Yes, I am having my hands all over the Diamond2.   To  all distributors selling the Diamond2, my advice is, let your customers hold it in their hands.  The Diamond2 has a magical hold over you the moment you touch it, and can easily make you dip into your pocket to buy one.

The screen is so much clearer than the ‘old’ Diamond.  And the interface is so smooth.  In terms of performance, it wins the iPhone hands down.

You have heard of  PUSH EMAIL and some of you could have used it.  The Diamond2 comes with PUSH INTERNET.  Hey, that’s a new word.  Push Internet is good for people who want to follow the share market or weather forcast or whatever that get updated all the time.  In Push Internet, the web information are pre-loaded and when you access them, it comes to you like instant noodles.  No waiting, it’s Internet-on-tap.   I will love this feature as I do not like to wait and I can get the information I need without waiting for it to load.

All you need to do is to set your phone to download the information.  With Push Internet you get WHAT you want, you get WHEN you want it and you also get to set HOW often you want it to update.  Though it is called PUSH INTERNET, it is more like Pull Internet working underneath.

This feature is added by HTC in the browser tab.

The 5 megapixel camera is really top class. Very sharp images can be taken.  The screen brightness makes viewing on the screen a pleasant experience.

Better for me to reveal the price on the day of the launch.
Singapore is selling the Diamond2 for S$1,088 which is equivalent to about RM2,615. So you can more or less figure out the selling price in Malaysia.

I got this set from someone who is a regular visitor to The Mobile Hornet. What is important is that I got it to share it with all of you.

Small car, small number plate and yet the Diamond2 can capture it.

Other than a beautiful interface, the iPhone cannot match the Diamond2 features.

How to lag if you can open only one program at a time. As many of you have known, you can’t multitask with iPhone. Anyway my 2 days of using the Diamond2 have confirmed that the new Diamond2 is truly fast and smooth. The interface is great too but I am waiting for the Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade which will blow off non Windows Mobile competitors.

I must admit the iPhone is a great phone but it has not reach the level of a truly business phone. The Diamond2 is already there and will be a great asset to road warriors.

When you have the passion, things will happen.
This is one of the perks for all the contributions I gave to The Mobile Hornet.

The pertinent information has essentially been found in http://blog.cndigit.com , CNDIGIT somehow keep up with it, or update. That’s pretty appreciated.
