AT LAST, FUTURE HTC PHONES TO HAVE 3.5MM HEADSET JACK

HTC gave us a raw deal when when we have to pump audio through their modified miniUSB port in their current phones.  Lucky for me my HTC Touch HD comes with a 3.5mm headset jack.  HTC is now listening to customers demand and will launch future phones with built-in 3.5mm headset jacks as standard.

Well, it’s about time they implement that. Proprietory jacks would put off a lot of people from buying.

Geez….most audio inclined consumers would cringe looking at the usb headsets given in their package. Duh…

I am disappointed with HTC “sometime USB, sometime 3.5mm jack” attitude. I am having the Touch HD and the older Dopod U1000, both from HTC and they spot the 3.5mm jack. But I am also having the HTC Touch Pro2 which is later than the HD but sad to say it uses a USB port for audio.

HTC must look into making sure that every new phone that comes out now spot the 3.5mm jack.
