MALAYSIA LAUNCHED HTC HD2 @ RM2,899
The HTC HD2 was launched today at the Boiler Room at Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur. And here is what you desire to know …. PRICE!
One blog has complained that I practice ”irresponsible journalism” by posting my invitation to the launch here. What he cannot realised is that HTC has been closing doors to the general public for too long and always have the “media only” launches. At least you good guys are informed that it is being officially launched and not some rumour. If he thinks that is irresponsible journalism then he should not post my invitation card on his site.
I have informed HTC higher-ups to consider doing a public-cum-media launch the next time like what iPhone did. The customers need to be informed. I believe the HD2 is more superior than the iPhone and yet it did not receive the fanfare it deserves.
The price for the HTC HD2 is RM2,899.00 with some goodies thrown in.
Be warned … this Snapdragon can bite!

I thought I don’t need to explain.
I love the HD2 and I may sound overprotective by highlighting the model’s braces.
I don’t think it was appropriate to use a model with braces to launch such a GOOD product. Braces are used to correct a default. So what was the message by using a model with braces? That the HD2 need correction too! Is the HD2 defective on launch day to need ‘braces’? Are all the models in KL wearing braces until you run out of choices? Will you launch a face cream using a model with pimples?
But then again, there is Snapdragon inside, so were the braces intentional??? You tell me….
