At last many Malaysians have managed to get hold of the AWESOME HTC HD2.  It is big but very comfortable on the hand.  The big screen is great!  But complaints are coming in too…

• The camera edge is too sharp for gentle fingers.
• The battery is not enough to support such a powerful device.
• The phone case is too tight.

HTC has solve your problem if  you are one of those Road Warriors that use battery faster than you can charge them.  Yes, there is an extended battery for the HD2 so don’t fret.  

The extended battery is supplied with a replacement back cover. Included within the battery cover is a stand that allows the device to be rested in portrait or landscape mode.  The minimum capacity is 2200mAh (the original is at 1230mAh).  It may cost RM250 a piece  in Malaysia.  Though the extended battery may make the phone thicker it still looks attractive.

On the sharp camera edge, I wonder why HTC design department didn’t rectify that before the launch.   I mean, you can’t miss it.  The moment your finger touch the camera, you will feel the sharp edge! 

The case has to be a tight fit otherwise your precious HD2 will slide and fall off.  I did have difficulty taking it out of the case.

I will accept these minor problems as the HTC HD2 is the best around.  I cannot see another device  at this moment that can dethrone it.  But if it has been an ANDROID phone, the HTC HD2 will be miles apart from the nearest competitor.  WHY OH WHY must Peter Chou said it out that there won’t be an Android HD2!  I hope he eat his words and release it!  Assume we didn’t hear it from you.  Anyway you have already done Microsoft a favour by using Windows Mobile FIRST … so nothing can stop you from releasing the Android version now.

BELIEVE ME, THE ANDDROID HD2 IS COMING …
