ASUS P750 – THE KAISER / TyTN II KILLER ?
ASUS IS COMING BACK STRONGER …. WITH THE P750
IS THIS GOING TO BE THE KAISER/TyTN II KILLER?

The P750 has no QWERTY keypad other than your regular numeric keypad with a joystick navigator and shortcut keys. Its 3-megapixel camera with autofocus is good enough for namecard scanning. The P750 comes with the same GPS chip (SiRFstar III) used in the Dopod U1000/HTC Advantage so it should be of very good quality. Other goodies in the P750 is HSDPA connectivity, 256MB flash memory. Its design looks like a smartphone but is packed with enough features to challenge the Kaiser/TyTN II. I wonder why Asus has packed this device with 64MB RAM while the current benchmark is 128MB.
If you are in Malaysia you may be able to view…touch…and get a hands-on experience of the Asus flagship model. So hop over to Penang’s GURNEY PLAZA (Ground Floor) tomorrow for the experience. I heard the promotion will be on from 22- 25 Nov 2007 from 10:30 am to 9:30 pm.
In a nutshell this is what the P750 has to offer:
- HSDPA
- SiRF Star III GPS
- Wi-Fi (b/g)
- 3.0MP Camera (with Auto Focus)
- 2.6″ QVGA Touchscreen
- Forward facing video calling camera
- 520Mhz Intel PXA270 CPU
- 256MB ROM
- 64MB RAM
- External microSD slot
- Smartphone-style keypad with backspace button
- 1300 mAh battery
