E-TEN Information Systems will offer hands on previews of its feature rich range of Glofiish Pocket PC Phones, including the newly announced V900 and M810, to visitors at the company booth during CeBIT 2008.
The hundreds of thousand industry professionals expected to congregate in Hannover, Germany during CeBIT 2008 (4-9 March) are invited to visit the E-TEN booth (Hall 26, A55 [01], Taiwan Pavilion) where they will be able to experience first-hand the company’s range of industry-leading Glofiish Pocket PC Phones.
Star attractions at the booth will be the recently announced Windows Mobile 6-based V900 and M810 handsets. As E-TEN’s first Pocket PC Phone to support the reception of digital TV broadcasts, the Glofiish V900 allows owners to watch their favorite TV programs, celebrate sporting events, or stay up-to-the-minute with news bulletins, even while traveling. Whether it’s on the daily commute or even abroad, support for DVB-H, DVB-T, TDMB and DAB standards ensures V900 owners can enjoy reception in most destinations around the world. V900 also offers the benefits of a VGA display and E-TEN’s all-in-one connectivity solution comprising of HSDPA, GSM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The V900 is scheduled to launch in the second half of the year.
The Glofiish M810 is a portable internet messaging and entertainment companion specifically tailored for the consumer market. Thanks to the handset’s comprehensive support for the latest mobile connectively standards, including HSDPA, Wi-Fi and GPS, the M810 gives on-the-go members of the Web 2.0 generation a constant connection to social networking and streaming video sites, wherever they are, while built-in JAVA support allows fun mobile games to be downloaded and played anywhere.
E-TEN’s commitment to design excellence has been acknowledged by a host of international awards such as, most recently, the iF Product Design Award 2008.

I hope I can be at CEBIT 2008. It was always my dream to be at Cebit and be fascinated at all the new tech that unfolds before your eyes. Somehow or other, it was either the cost of the air ticket or the timing. I am a businessman but I am not into any tech business so it doesn’t justify the high cost to fly over to Hannover from Malaysia.
Who knows, with the popularity of The Mobile Hornet growing so fast, there may be a need to go there in the future either at my own expense or sponsored by some manufacturers(?).
There is going to be some surprises coming up in this coming event which is on from 4 March to 9 March. Cebit is big and I understand many Malaysian tech companies are taking part too. But what interest me and you are all the latest news on the mobile device segment. And there is going to be a lot of them coming. So get your Cebit news here at The Mobile Hornet.
