The Glofiish V900 marks the premier of mobile digital TV to E-TEN’s Pocket PC lineup, allowing users to keep up-to-date with the latest news, TV shows and sports, even when on the move. The V900 boasts an ultra-sharp VGA display and supports multiple standards including DVB-T/H and T-DMB/DAB meaning the thrill of over-the-air TV can be enjoyed almost anywhere around the world.

Finally, the Glofiish X610 offers both value and functionally in a sleek handset that’s perfect for GPS navigation and everyday communications.

In addition to industry-leading hardware innovations and the latest Windows Mobile 6.1 platform, all the new handsets feature a new touch interface that revolutionizes the way users interact with their Glofiish phones though gestures, finger-friendly icons and 3D animations.

GLOFIISH M800 - BEST WINDOWS MOBILE PHONE ?

November 17th, 2007 Mike Hornet Posted in ETEN, PDA PHONES, WINDOWS MOBILE No Comments »

E-TEN has packed the Glofiish M800 with a comprehensive mix of the current high-end mobile functionality.   Can the HTC Kaiser beat it ?

M800

  • A sliding QWERTY keyboard design speeds up input for rapid messaging.
  • 3.5G and Wi-Fi connectivity provide fast accesses to email, and online information.
  • The VGA (640×480) display allows more information to be viewed onscreen at once, while text, images and video are sharper and easier to view, and
  • when traveling on foot or in the car GPS provides access to accurate location information for easy navigation.
  • Furthermore, the M800 is based on the Windows Mobile 6 platform which comes with built-in features including a mobile office suite for productivity, search, and support for push email.

Compared to handsets from competing vendors, few, if any, can equal the complete feature list of E-TEN’s device. While some models on the market feature 3.5G and a sliding keyboard design similar to the M800, these products only have a QVGA display (the HTC Kaiser has only a QVGA (240×320) display) , which is only one-quarter the resolution of the M800’s VGA (640×480) screen.

The M800 has one setback…a low 64MB program memory which can crash the system.

Well, between a VGA screen and higher memory, I will opt for the higher memory.  That’s the TyTN II for me!

The Glofiish M800 costs $749.95 (RM2,550)

GLOFIISH M800 vs TyTN II

Can the ETEN Glofiish M800 beat the TyTN II?

Feature for feature, the M800 has what TyTN II has, but the M800 also has something that neither HTC Kaiser nor any other HTC phone can offer: VGA (640×480) display in a small form factor. Wow, that’s 4x higher resolution than the TyTN II !
