THE MOBILE HORNET … for those who get turned on by mobile devices

 The HTC TOUCH DIAMOND variants in the form of the T-MOBILE MDA COMPACT IV and  O2 XDA DIAMOND are expected to be launched on 6 May 08.  Looks like Europe will get a taste of these new goodies first.

Here are the expected specs for the MDA Compact IV and XDA Diamond:

• 3 megapixel autofocus camera
• 4 GB internal memory
• Quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE
• Triband UMTS/HSDPA up to 7.2 Mbps
• Bluetooth 2.0+EDR

• Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional
• 900 mAh battery

Expect to see these models in the stores by June 2008.

May 6 is coming closer and my crystal ball predicted that on that day will see the coming of the RAPHAEL & the DIAMOND.

Both are to have VGA screens, 3G and WIFI.  The RAPHAEL will come with the keyboard while the DIAMOND will be without keyboard but Manila interface inside.

 Looks like there is no sign of the Android phone DREAM.

Manila card? Manila Phillipines?  No, it’s HTC Manila.

HTC has come out with a new Windows Mobile user interface code-named HTC Manila, version 2.0 of the HTC Touch TouchFLO interface. It’s slow-running at the moment. HTC will have to upgrade the processor and memory to so that the features of the new UI can run properly and faster. The other requirements are a VGA screen and 2 DLL files.

Think this can shake up the people that created the iPhone?
