EYELID STICKERS LET YOU SLEEP AT WORK

February 15th, 2008 Mike Hornet Posted in HUMOUR 1 Comment »

SOMETHING FOR THE WEEKEND:

With all the late nights during the Chinese New Year, you need to catch up with some sleep … in the office.   Let me show you how you can stay awake while sleeping.

wakeupeyes.JPG

Your boss will not notice that you are sleeping  especially when your “eyes are wide awake”.

All you need are a pair of eyelid stickers to keep you “awake”.  Stick them on your closed eyelids and learn to sleep sitting up. You will definitely fool anyone.   If you are not able to source it in your area, you can always produce and print some with your printer.

VALENTINE’S DAY : THE MUSCIAL CONDOM

February 7th, 2008 Mike Hornet Posted in GADGETS, HUMOUR No Comments »

 musical-condom-valentine.JPG

VALENTINE’S DAY is just round the corner.  Do you want to spice up this Valentine?  Affirmative?  Then go and get yourself the MUSICAL CONDOM.  According to InventorSpot :

” Today, more than ever, sexual prowess cannot occur free of responsibility. So if you love your partner, or even if you don’t and you only love yourself, you owe it to yourself to practice safe sex. That’s why today I am providing you with a patent that reconciles safety with fun.

United States patent 5163447 is for a Force-Sensitive, Sound-Playing Condom! That’s right, it’s a musical condom! This baby looks and acts like a traditional condom and yet, manages to go a step further by incorporating “a chip-controlled piezoelectric sound transducer (18) which plays a melody or voiced message when during intercourse the contacts of the sound-playing unit are closed and the transducer is activated” by forceful movements. Just think of all the fun you’ll have - besides the sex of course.

The prophylactic works like this: record a song or message, put the prophylactic on, begin your business, then every time you thrust your recording is played out loud. You can be as sweet as you like, “I love you Valentine,” as dirty as you like, “Who’s your daddy?” or as conceited as your partner suspects you are by recording things like a drum roll, or the theme song from Apocalypse Now, Wagner’s: The Ride of the Valkyries.

Anyway, the musical condom is my pick today not because a condom is particularly new or unusual, but because I like the fact that the inventor, Paul Lyons, found an innovative way to improve on an established product without reinventing the wheel, so to speak.

So remember to keep those you love, even if it’s only you, safe and amused this Valentine’s Day with United States patent 5163447. At last, your love has got it’s own soundtrack!  ”

EMOTICON TRANSFORMING STAMP :-D

January 21st, 2008 Mike Hornet Posted in HUMOUR, TOYS No Comments »

emoticonstamp.jpg

Emoticons aren’t just for the computer screen anymore, they’ve become a part of our culture and our language. Whether or not your English teacher will approve, they are an adorable way of conveying emotions in a simple and concise fashion. Now you can bring emoticons to an old fashioned piece of paper or envelope by using an Emoticon Transforming Stamp

emoticonstamppix.jpg

The stamp is made of silicone so that you can squish and flex it to create all sorts of faces, which makes it kind of like having several emoticon stamps all in one.

The Emoticon Transforming Stamp retails for just $5.99 (19.00).

A picture is worth a thousand words - so an emoticon must be worth at least 5.99! :-D

JAY BROEMMEL AND HIS DRAGON BIKE

December 28th, 2007 Mike Hornet Posted in GADGETS, HUMOUR, TOYS No Comments »

I picked this from RockTheBike and thought I should share this with you for the weekend:

dragon-bike1.jpg

” Jay’s only been riding the new dragon bike for a few days, and I had the pleasure of cruising with him last night on the second cruise of the night. We dropped off some homemade apple pie (a la mode, of course) from our pot luck dinner to a friend who was tending bar at the Lone Palm on the other side of the Mission.

The Dragon bike is one of three art bikes that was on display at the December bike culture show at The Rev.

What I love about Jay’s art bikes is the degree to which he throws the rules out the window and follows his own direction.

The paint job on the new dragon is still pristine and glossy. The Sweetskinz tires still have the little furry rubber hairs everywhere.

Jay is the second frame builder / customizer to my knowledge who has modified a frame for the Down Low Glow.

The Dragon Bike also has a couple very trick mechanical features. The eyes (which are blue LED headlights) move when the handlebars move. And the jaw bites when you squeeze the left brake. “

We have Pizza delivery bikes and this will make a very good Chinese food delivery bike. No one can miss you if you are riding it!

BOOST UP YOUR iPHONE OR ANY PDA PHONE SPEAKER …

October 10th, 2007 Mike Hornet Posted in APPLE, HUMOUR, PDA PHONES, iPhone No Comments »

Homemade iPhone Amplifier

“The iPhone has a tiny speaker that distorts at high volume. To listen to music without headphones or external speakers, you’ll need an amplifier. If you’re a cheapskate with disdain for hygiene, check out this homemade version, rigged up by camh. The benefits include:

  1. Security. No one will walk off with an iPhone that’s been stuffed inside this thing.
  2. Eco-friendly. Instead of putting a used, tattered roll of toilet paper into the trash, it goes on your desk.
  3. Economical. Enjoy a memorable audio experience at a fraction of the cost of decent headphones. John Williams via a 5 inch cardboard tube stays with you.
  4. Chick magnet. Nothing says “I have expendable cash” like an iPhone…in a roll of Charmin.

Enjoy your enhanced iPhone.

Update: Erica Sadun tested her own TP iPhone Amp against a cone made of stiff paper and a non-enhanced iPhone with a Radio Shack sound level meter (part 33-2055) at both the 60 and 70 dB base settings. Here are the results:

At 4 feet line of sight, there was no difference at all between any of them. They all measured pretty much the same 65 dB for the same segment of song played at the highest volume.

At 2 feet line of sight (yes, she used a ruler and tape markers), the same procedure yielded:

  • No enhancement: 68 dB
  • Toilet paper: 70 db
  • Stiff cardboard cone around iPhone: 75 db
  • A final test with no enhancement and the iPhone turned 45 degrees away from the sensor at the same 2 feet distance yielded 65 dB.”

SOLD:1,000,000 iPhone SOLD:800,000 HTC Touch

October 5th, 2007 Mike Hornet Posted in APPLE, HTC, HUMOUR, Touch, iPhone No Comments »

iphonetouch

I was sharing with you guys on how Apple made a lot of noise and sold 1,000,000 iPhones. That was a Wow! from me. And then I came to know that HTC made NO noise and sold 800,000 HTC Touch. That was a double Wow! from me.

This makes me wonder what kind of rules they follow to have a successful launch.

Look no further, get the rules here:

Marketing Rules

1. You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and say: “I am very rich. Marry me!” - *That’s Direct Marketing.*

2. You’re at a party with a bunch of friends and see a gorgeous girl. One of your friends goes up to her and pointing at you says: “He’s very rich. Marry him.” - * That’s Advertising.*

3. You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and get her telephone number. The next day, you call and say: “Hi, I’m very rich. Marry me.” - * That’s Telemarketing.*

4. You’re at a party and see gorgeous girl. You get up and straighten your tie, you walk up to her and pour her a drink, you open the door (of the car) for her, pick up her bag after she drops it, offer her ride and then say: “By the way, I’m rich. Will you marry me?” - * That’s Public Relations.*

5. You’re at a party and see gorgeous girl. She walks up to you and says: “You are very rich! Can you marry ! me?” - * That’s Brand Recognition.*

6. You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and say: I am very rich. Marry me! “She gives you a nice hard slap on your face.”- * That’s Customer Feedback.*

7. You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and say: “I am very rich. Marry me!” And she introduces you to her husband.- * That’s demand and supply gap*

8. You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and before you sayanything, another person come and tell her: “I’m rich. Will you marry me?” and she goes with him. -* That’s competition eating into your market share*.

9. You see a gorgeous girl at a party. You go up to her and before you say: “I’m rich, Marry me!” your wife arrives. - * That’s restriction for entering new markets*.

HA! HA! HAVE A NICE WEEKEND!
