    Physicochemical Property: white powder, colorless cubic crystal, melting point:993℃, boiling point:1695℃, density:2.558g/cm3(25℃), slightly soluble in water and alcohol, aqueous solution is alkalescence, soluble in hydrofluoric acid.
    Usage: agriculture insecticide, wood preservative, metal solvent, it can be used in  enamel medicine industry, machine planer tool mount steel process. It can reduce mount steel melting point and increase jointing strength. It also can be used as zymotic antiseptic, produce Fluorine compound, the raw material of cockroach medicine powder, analytical reagent etc.

 

2. Technology and Process principle

   1. The Technical Principle

      1.Hydrofluosilicic acid react with sodium sulfate( or sodium chloride) produce sodium fluorosilicate and dilute sulphuric acid( or dilute hydrochloric acid)

                    H2SiF6 + Na2SO4  →  Na2SiF6↓+ H2SO4

                   or:H2SiF6 + 2NaCl  →  Na2SiF6↓+ 2HCl

 

      2. Sodium fluorosilicate react with sodium carbonate produce sodium fluoride and silicon dioxide

                   Na2SiF6 + 2Na2CO3 →  6NaF + SiO2 + 2CO2

 

      3. Separate sodium fluoride and silicon dioxide, then clean and dry, it will produce sodium fluoride product and silicon dioxide product.

 

    2. Process reliability

    The technical engineers in our company have much experience in fluorine chemical production. Their production experience includes hydrogen fluoride, aluminium fluoride, ammonium fluoride, ammonium hydrogen fluoride, potassium fluoride, sodium fluoride and other series of fluorine chemical products, hydrofluosilicic acid, sodium fluorosilicate, ammonium fluorosilicate, potassium fluorosilicate, magnesium fluorosilicate and other series of hydrofluosilicic acid products, sodium fluoborate, potassium borofluoride and other series of boratofluoric acid products, potassium fluotitanate, sodium  fluotitanate, ammonium fluotitanate, calcium fluotitanate and other series of fluotitanic acid products. The designed process, chosen equipment materials are all the best combination of their experience and newest technology.

    The process of using hydrofluosilicic acid to produce sodium fluoride is reliable.

4. The environment protection problems in producing

    When using sodium chloride to produce sodium fluorosilicate and need to discharge  calcium chloride aqueous solution which is produced from dilute hydrochloric acid react with lime, it need to ask the opinion from local environment protection department if can be discharged in local area. If using sodium sulfate as raw material, the discharged waste water can match the emission standard.

    The water in production should be as cyclic used as possible, in order to reduce the waste water emission.

    In the production, try to use sodium hydrate to replace  sodium carbonate, in order to reduce the carbon dioxide emission.

    It doesn’t discharge solid offscum in production.

 

3. The requirement to the raw materials

    1. Hydrofluosilicic acid H2SiF6: consistence is about 8% to 25%, phosphate fertilizer factory or hydrogen fluoride factory suggest using hydrofluosilicic acid consistence over 15%.

    2. Sodium sulfate Na2SO4: the solution over 20% or solid over 85%, it can be Sodium sulfate brine or other companies Sodium sulfate byproduct if impurity content qualified.

    3. Sodium chloride NaCl:  the solution over 20% or solid over 85%, it can be sodium chloride brine or other companies sodium chloride byproduct if impurity content qualified.

    4. Sodium carbonate Na2CO3:the solution over 20% or solid over 85%, it can use other companies sodium carbonate byproduct if impurity content qualified.
